Prefabrication
Why Prefabrication Matters for Electrical Contractors
Prefabrication is transforming the way electrical contractors plan, build, and deliver projects. By shifting critical portions of electrical work off-site and into a controlled environment, contractors can gain a competitive edge through increased efficiency, reduced waste, and improved safety.

Navisworks Training:
This training is designed specifically for field foremen, superintendents, and installers who want to leverage Navisworks as a jobsite coordination tool. The training focuses on navigating coordinated models, identifying system routes, and using viewpoints to communicate installation plans and resolve clashes in the field. Trainees will learn how to:
-
Open and review models using Navisworks Freedom or Manage
-
Isolate systems for prefabrication and layout
-
Navigate clash reports and understand coordination outcomes
-
Use saved viewpoints and sectioning tools for installation planning
-
Communicate issues with the office via screenshots and markups
No prior modeling experience is required. This training equips field teams with the skills to understand and apply BIM coordination in real-world construction settings.
